Stripe Billing Integration

Limio supports Stripe as a billing provider via Stripe Connect. This allows you to use Stripe for both payment processing and subscription billing, without requiring Zuora.

This is different from the Limio Stripe Payments Integration, which uses Stripe for payment tokenization but still relies on Zuora for billing.

Overview

With Stripe Connect, Limio acts as a platform that connects to your Stripe account. This enables:

• Payment Processing - Accept credit cards and other payment methods via Stripe

• Subscription Billing - Manage recurring subscriptions directly in Stripe

• Simplified Setup - No need to manage API keys directly; Limio handles the connection securely

How Stripe Connect Works

Stripe Connect uses OAuth-based onboarding to link your Stripe account to Limio:

1. You initiate the connection from Integration → Stripe in Limio

2. Limio redirects you to Stripe's hosted onboarding flow

3. You complete your business details in Stripe

4. Stripe redirects back to Limio with your connected account

Once connected, Limio can create customers, subscriptions, and process payments on your behalf.
