New Features and Improvements

⚠️ Page Performance outside primary locations (back-ported in release 95 in March 2024)

We're excited to share some significant improvements to how Limio locates and delivers content across our global network. Our team has addressed issues that previously affected users in Asia by enhancing our cloud infrastructure, which now ensures faster and more reliable page loading times worldwide. The performance improvements are a series of technical measures to our global routing functionality, including moving some services closer to the user, enabling better caching, reducing the number of services required, and running those in parallel whenever possible. No matter where you are or how complex your pages are, you'll find our platform more responsive and efficient.

This update not only speeds up the loading times but also reduces the lag you might have experienced during high-traffic periods. These changes are part of our ongoing commitment to delivering an exceptional user experience and ensuring that our platform performs optimally at all times, for all users.

This change was back-ported in release 95. To receive this change, you will need to either receive it as a dedicated hotfix or adopt any new release above 95. The feature is also feature-flagged to allow for granular control of the change. Contact your Customer Success Manager to get more details.

Price inclusive of tax in Switch Subscription component

Limio Commerce users now have more flexibility in how tax is displayed in prices in the Switch Subscription component. The component has been improved so that the price is displayed including tax when the Tax Behaviour settings are enabled for the country on the subscription.

To configure tax settings, go to:

Settings > Localisation > Tax Behaviour > “Display prices for tax-exclusive countries with tax in the countries selected below”

Screenshot: Users can configure the tax exclusive settings for specific countries in this view.

For example, if the "Display prices for tax-exclusive countries" toggle is enabled, and United States and Canada are set in the tax exclusive countries section, a customer with a billing address in the United States or Canada would see all prices shown with tax in the Switch Subscription component.

Here is a full list of components that support this functionality:

Localisation in Page Builder v2

We've enabled localisation in Page Builder v2. The same components that supported Localisation in Page Builder v1 will now be supported in Page Builder v2.

Read this documentation for more information on our localisation functionality:

Improved Twikey integration security

We've improved the security of our Twikey integration after a recent vulnerability review.

Architecture improvements

The Limio team has done some internal reorganising of our code in order to better support our new build process. Our subcomponents now load dynamically during the page build process, and our modules have been better grouped.

Bug Fixes

Silent page build failures

Previously, there was an issue where page builds would look like they were built successfully, but actually failed. When published, the page would appear blank. This was caused by a timeout during our build process and has now been resolved.

(ZD #3865)

Moving components could remove components in other sections of the page

In the Page Builder v2, there was an issue where moving a component in one section could remove a component in another section. For example, if a user moved a component in the body section, then the header and footer were removed. This has now been resolved.

Picklist attributes not fully displayed in Offers inline editing view

Previously, attributes that were picklist or multipicklist would not fully display in the inline editing view of the Offers tab. This made it difficult to select attribute values. This has now been resolved.

(ZD #109535, #109593)

Consistency in user details when updating address

Previously, when updating an address, the email on the identity token was used for the user's email. This has been improved so that the user's email should be the email provided in the API call, or otherwise the email listed on the Limio Customer.
