Configure Payment Type on Offer

As mentioned in our user guide, Limio's no code subscription commerce platform is fully integrated with Zuora, right out-of-the-box, and in this user guide we will show you how to setup the Zuora Payment Type in Limio.

Zuora Payment Methods

The payment method refers to the form of payment customers are using. For online purchases, they usually take the form of electronic payments like credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers, third-party processors (such as PayPal), or non-electronic payments like checks and cash. are stored on each Zuora customer account. Each payment method has a unique ID (a token) in Zuora. To learn how to setup Limio for Zuora payment gateways, please visit the Zuora user guide.

Limio for Zuora Payment Type

In Limio, Payment Type field (screenshot below) includes the way a customer will be able to pay for the subscription. The field includes a dropdown list of payment methods. The ones compatible with Zuora are: zuora credit card, zuora paypal, Zuora ACH Bank Transfer, and Zuora Apple Pay.

Once you have setup the , then the customer will see the relevant Zuora iframe.

Here you can select all payment types that you want to include as options for the offer purchase. Once selected, they will appear like this:

Once the Payment Method is configured in Limio for Zuora, you can allow your customer to manage their payment method via the Manage My Account page where they will be able to update their payment details.

Important note: The payment type (payment_types__limio in object view) needs to be populated on your published offers to avoid issues for customers when changing their payment method in Manage My Account.
