# Limio Customer Overview Component

**LFS version:** requires Limio for Salesforce v12.24 or later

The **Limio Customer Value** is a standalone app builder component that allows agents to see some key metrics about a subscriber based on their Limio history.

Being a custom app builder component, it can be dragged and dropped anywhere on the page.

This component requires the Limio customer identifier, hence it can only be used in the context of a Case, Contact, or Account record page.

Customer Value component presents two key metrics:

1. Lifetime value - total expenditure
2. Duration since the initial purchase along with the date of the initial purchase

This combination offers insight into the amount spent by the subscriber during a specific timeframe, aiding in the identification of appropriate upsell offers.

The data provided is derived from the customer history stored in Limio, taking into account all subscriptions associated with the current customer. It includes only past billings and excludes cancelled and future changes.

For the customers who are not registered in the Limio database yet, users will see a respective message:

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.limio.com/integrations/setting-up-limio-for-salesforce/subscriber-timeline/customer-overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
